ATRC Aging is holding a Free Community Health Fair Focused On Brain Health at the, Edmundite Community Center, 1428 Broad Street, in Selma, AL, on June 26, 2026, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Representatives from the University of Alabama, along with state and local agencies will be providing assessments and information regarding:
- Memory Screening
- Cognitive Assessments
- Depression, Anxiety, Grief, And Adjustment Evaluations
- Financial Evaluations
- Independent Living & Self‑Care Abilities
- Guardianship/Conservatorship Evaluations And Much More
There will be free giveaways, and educational materials will be available. This event is sponsored by the University of Alabama, the Alabama Department of Public Health, the Alabama Cooperative Extension, Dementia Free Alabama, the Selma Area Food Bank, and Legal Services Alabama.
